Pandemic Notes: November, 2020

It is already November and the world is stumbling through its response to the pandemic. I cannot imagine how it is that we have a global pandemic that has brought the world to its knees and there is no a coordinated response to it.

It is easy to blame only Donald Trump for it. There is no doubt he’s been the worst at managing the pandemic in any of the countries, but none of the other leaders of the world has shown any interest in leading a global effort on it. That is really irresponsible. You cannot rely on the US showing the world the way all the time.

This is more so because we have a great deal of experience in creating environments in which people can work safely and things can function somewhat well enough. A coordinated response would have led to a lot more of information sharing and globally-coordinated mitigation strategies.

Never mind.
