AOL has a much tougher miracle to pull off. It will take them at least two years of hardcore housecleaning just to get back to being something like competitive. Y! does not have that problem, at least at the moment. They are a profitable company. So it is really about finding a solid platform future than trying to salvage some future at all, if possible.
